Celio Corp is constantly working on support for new phones and operating systems. Click here to be notified of new product updates.

REDFLY Tested Smartphones

Celio Corp supports a large number and variety of BlackBerry (OS versions 4.6, 4.7, and 5.0) and Windows Mobile (OS versions 6.0, 6.1, and 6.5) smartphones (English only). Smartphones vary considerably by hardware platform, operating system version and even carrier customization, so it is recommended that the REDFLY software only be installed on the specific phones listed here.

Celio Corp also works aggressively to support new phones as they are introduced. With the new 1.5.1.330 software driver release, there are currently no additional phones in a Beta state. As new phones arrive, we will provide a Beta Phones table that may include a list of phones with driver support that while functional with the REDFLY Mobile Companion may still include interaction issues or screen anomalies that have yet to be resolved. Please note that English is the only supported language at this time for all phones.

Please make certain your smartphone is listed in the table below before attempting to download and install the REDFLY driver software to your smartphone.

If you would like to receive announcements on the latest smartphones available for REDFLY, please subscribe to our email news list.

Change Log and Notes for Beta 1.5.1.320:

This beta build is focused on adding support for Windows Mobile 6.5 and BlackBerry 5.0 smartphones. This build has not been regressed on all supported Windows Mobile 6.0/6.1 or BlackBerry 4.6/4.7 phones, so you should not upgrade to this build unless you are willing to accept the risk of using a development build. In general you should first backup everything on your phone, as in rare cases we have received reports that installing our beta drivers can cause the phone to become unresponsive and result in the need for a hard reset.

Windows Mobile 6.5 Notes:

  1. Some Start menu icons will not launch applications - HTC Imagio
  2. TouchFLO 3D: The REDFLY currently is not compatible with HTC's TouchFLO 3D. Upon connecting to the REDFLY, if TouchFLO is turned on, the REDFLY driver will automatically turn TouchFLO off before connecting. While connected to the REDFLY, your phone will display its built-in Today Screen. When the phone is disconnected from the REDFLY, TouchFLO is automatically turned back on and your phone should return to its original TouchFLO state within 30 seconds.
  3. Start Menu: The REDFLY currently is not compatible with the standard Windows Mobile 6.5 grid-pattern Start Menu. While connected to REDFLY, the standard grid-pattern Start Menu is replaced with a REDFLY custom Start Menu. When the phone is disconnected from the REDFLY, your standard grid-pattern Start Menu will return.

BlackBerry 5.0 Notes:

  1. There is a shadow cursor when using the BlackBerry browser while connected to REDFLY
  2. While in the browser, the cursors may get out of sync - Use CTRL+R to reset the cursors
  3. With some security configurations the security time out may not be reset when using the REDFLY. This may cause the phone to lock and force the user to type the password again. You may need to type the password on the phone instead of on the REDFLY to unlock the phone but you do not need to disconnect the phone and REDFLY.

Change Log 1.5.1.320:

  1. Fixed volume rocker issue on AT&T Tilt 2
  2. Fixed keyboard number/symbol mapping issue on AT&T Tilt 2
  3. XML changes for various WM 6.5 phones which affect the dialer and comm manager.
  4. Improved cursor support for BlackBerry 5.0 phones
